Since 1953, the Hoyt G. Hickey & Son Funeral Home has been serving the families of Monticello and Wayne County.

In 1953 visitations were for days, not an evening, in the home, not in the Funeral Home. The funeral service was in the Church, not the Funeral Chapel. We passed out fans, not turn down the air conditioning. The men of the community, not a backhoe, dug the grave.

Today's funeral services are individualized, arranging services to meet the individual needs of the family. We take great pride in providing each and every family we serve, with the service that fits their needs, spiritually, emotionally and financially.
